After a number 9 finish in 2008,
BBRacing is back in 2009. They will compete in the NHRA
Division 3 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series in Top Sportsman.
BBR is owned and
operated by Benjamin Board. For 2009 we would like to welcome
David Purlee (NMRA Drag Racer and owner of NCR Motorsports) as crew chief. Ben Board (father of Benjamin)
will be focusing on tuning this season. The
2003 Chevrolet S-10 Pro Stock Truck will be powered by an all new
power plant. The
engine will only be 406CI
SB2.2 small block Chevrolet. M&M Competition Engines
has completely redesigned the motor specifically for the ProCharger F3A-R.
Chris Duncan Race Cars is helping plant the power to the ground and
has setup a new fuel system for 2009.
They are aiming for a career best of mid 6 second runs at over 210 mph
this year. There should be plenty of number one qualifiers again
for the 2009 season!!! |
